If you're driving from Portland, take I-84 East towards The Dalles. Exit at exit 64 for Mosier. Turn right onto Rock Creek Rd. The Mark O Hatfield East Trailhead is located at 1547 Rock Creek Rd, Mosier, OR 97040. There is ample parking available at the trailhead.

To reach the Mark O Hatfield East Trailhead using public transportation, take the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus from Hood River to Mosier. You can catch the CAT bus from the Hood River Transit Center. Once you arrive in Mosier, it's about a 1-mile walk to the trailhead. Follow 1st St. south, then take a left on Rock Creek Rd to reach the trailhead. Check the CAT website for the latest bus schedules and fares.
