Bus
From Martinsburg, head to the nearest bus stop at the Martinsburg Intermodal Transportation Center located at 229 E Martin St. Take the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority (EPTA) bus heading towards Harpers Ferry. The bus will take you directly to Harpers Ferry. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Harpers Ferry, disembark at the Harpers Ferry Visitor Center stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, located at 171 Shoreline Dr.

Walk to the Martinsburg Amtrak Station located at 229 E Martin St. Purchase a ticket for the Amtrak train heading towards Washington D.C. Get off at the Harpers Ferry station. Once you arrive at the Harpers Ferry Train Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the train station to the park entrance at 171 Shoreline Dr.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental service in Martinsburg. Start your ride from the center of Martinsburg and head toward the Harpers Ferry area. Follow the bike-friendly routes, taking WV-45 E and then following signs toward Harpers Ferry. The distance is about 13 miles and will take approximately 1 hour to bike. Once in Harpers Ferry, head towards Shoreline Drive to reach Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.
