Getting There

  • Car

    From Saguaro National Park, exit the park and get on the I-10 East freeway from E Valencia Rd. Continue on I-10 East for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 275 for AZ-83 South towards Vail. Merge onto AZ-83 South and continue for about 10 miles. Turn left onto E Old Spanish Trail, and Colossal Cave Mountain Park will be on your right at 16721 E Old Spanish Trail, Vail, AZ 85641. Note: There may be an entry fee for the park.

  • Public Transportation

    From Saguaro National Park, you will need to first travel to the nearest bus stop. Use a rideshare service or taxi to get to the nearest Sun Tran bus stop (Route 6) located on E Broadway Blvd. Take the bus towards the downtown area and transfer to Route 8 towards the Eastside. Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation to Colossal Cave Mountain Park. Once you reach the closest bus stop, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach Colossal Cave Mountain Park at 16721 E Old Spanish Trail, Vail, AZ 85641. Make sure to check the Sun Tran website for current schedules and routes.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike from Saguaro National Park, exit the park and head southeast on E Valencia Rd. Follow E Valencia Rd until you reach the I-10 access road. Ride cautiously along the side of the road to reach AZ-83 South. Continue on AZ-83 South for about 10 miles until you turn left onto E Old Spanish Trail. Colossal Cave Mountain Park will be on your right. Ensure you have a map or GPS, as this route may involve some busy roads.
