Getting There

  • Shuttle

    During shuttle season (February to November, and sometimes during the holiday season), the only way to access the Court of the Patriarchs Viewpoint is via the free Zion Canyon Shuttle. From the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, board the shuttle and disembark at the Court of the Patriarchs stop, which is the fourth stop on the route. The shuttle typically arrives every 10-15 minutes, though schedules may vary depending on the time of day and season. The shuttle is free.

  • Walking

    If you happen to be staying at the Zion Lodge, you can walk to the Court of the Patriarchs Viewpoint by following the road south towards the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. After approximately 1 mile, you will arrive at the Court of the Patriarchs shuttle stop. From there, a short paved trail leads to the viewpoint. There are no costs associated with walking.
