The descent to Frog Flats involves navigating a moderately steep path through myrtle-beech rainforest. Exercise caution due to potentially muddy conditions and tangled tree roots. From the bridge over the Forth River at Frog Flats, the trail climbs in the forest. No costs are associated with walking this section of the track.
