Car
From Mount Field National Park, head southeast on Lake Fenton Rd towards National Park Rd. Continue on National Park Rd until you reach the intersection with Gordon River Rd. Take a right onto Gordon River Rd and follow it as it turns into the A10 highway. Continue on the A10 for approximately 30 km until you reach the exit for Ridgeway Rd. Take the exit and follow Ridgeway Rd for about 4 km. Waterworks Reserve will be on your left, with access to parking available.

To reach Waterworks Reserve from Mount Field National Park using public transport, first, you will need to take a bus from the park to the nearest major town, New Norfolk. Once in New Norfolk, transfer to the bus service that operates towards Hobart. When you arrive in Hobart, you will need to catch a bus towards Ridgeway. The closest stop to Waterworks Reserve is on Ridgeway Rd. The total travel time may vary, and you should check the latest bus schedules and routes on the Metro Tasmania website. Note that bus fares will apply, so be sure to have a valid ticket.
