Getting There

  • Car

    From Sydney CBD, head south on the M1 Pacific Motorway. Take the exit onto the Princes Highway/A1 towards Wollongong. Continue for about 30 km until you reach the turnoff for the Royal National Park. Follow the signs for the Royal National Park, entering via the Audley entrance. Drive through the park, following the signs for Wattamolla Dam. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Note that there is an entry fee to the park, which is around AUD 12 per vehicle.

  • Public Transportation

    From Sydney Central Station, take a train on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line towards Cronulla. Get off at the Loftus Station. From there, you can catch a bus (Bus No. 991) that goes directly to the Royal National Park. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Wattamolla. The total journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure to check the bus timetable as services may vary on weekends and public holidays.
