If you are traveling by car, start your journey towards Hinterriß from any location in the Karwendel Mountains. Follow the signs to the B177 road, which leads towards the Achensee region. As you approach the village of Pertisau, take the exit for the Achenpass road (B307). Continue on the B307 until you reach Hinterriß. Once in Hinterriß, navigate to Nr 4, where you will find Naturparkhaus Hinterriß. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

For those using public transportation, take a train to Jenbach, which is well-connected to major cities in Austria. From Jenbach, board the bus (line 4080) towards Achenkirch. Get off at the Hinterriß stop. From there, it is a short walk to Naturparkhaus Hinterriß located at Nr 4. Make sure to check the current bus schedules as they may vary throughout the week and may not run frequently.
