Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Schladming-Dachstein, head east on B320 towards Radstadt. Continue for about 16 km until you reach the junction for the B166 towards Ramsau am Dachstein. Follow B166 for approximately 10 km until you see signs for the Dachstein cable car. Turn left onto the access road leading to the cable car station. There is parking available at the station, but be prepared to pay a fee (around €5-€10 per day). From the cable car station, take the Dachstein cable car up to the mountain station.

    Take the local bus from Schladming to Ramsau am Dachstein (Bus Line 962). The bus departs regularly from the Schladming bus station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
