If you are traveling by car from Sarpang District, head towards the town of Punakha. Start by taking the main road (NH-8) from Sarpang towards Wangdue Phodrang. Once you reach Wangdue Phodrang, continue driving towards Punakha. The distance is approximately 40 kilometers and should take about an hour to reach. As you approach Punakha, look for signs directing you to the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the bridge entrance.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Sarpang to Punakha. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Sarpang. The journey to Punakha will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the bus schedule and road conditions. Once you arrive at the Punakha bus terminal, you can either take a taxi or walk to the Punakha Suspension Bridge, which is about 3 kilometers from the bus terminal. Taxis are available at the bus terminal for a small fare, usually around 150-200 Nu (Bhutanese Ngultrum).
