The most common way to reach Xugana Island Lodge is by light aircraft from Maun International Airport (MUB). Upon arrival at Maun, you'll board a small plane for a 15-45 minute flight to the Xugana Airstrip. These flights typically cost between US$220 and US$260 per person, per way. From the airstrip, a 20-minute boat transfer will take you to the lodge.

Upon arrival at the Xugana Airstrip, a representative from Xugana Island Lodge will meet you and transfer you to a waiting motorboat. The boat ride to the lodge takes approximately 20 minutes, winding through the waterways of the Okavango Delta. This boat transfer is typically included in the lodge rates.
