If you are driving, start from the town of Rila. Head northwest on the main road (E79) towards the Rila Monastery. After approximately 12 km, turn left onto the road leading to the Rila Lakes area. Follow the signs for the 'Seven Rila Lakes' until you reach the parking area near the Rila Lakes hut. The parking fee is around 10 BGN. From the parking area, you’ll need to hike approximately 1.5 hours to reach Lake Peak. The trail is marked and takes you through stunning landscapes.
