Walking
Start at the Carmel Plaza located at Ocean Ave & Junipero St. Head south on Junipero St toward 7th Ave. Turn left onto 7th Ave and continue walking until you reach San Carlos St. Turn right on San Carlos St and walk until you reach Ocean Ave. At Ocean Ave, turn left and follow it until you reach the intersection with Highway 1 (CA-1). Cross the highway carefully, and once across, continue walking along the right side of CA-1. You'll pass several viewpoints offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Keep walking for about 1 mile, and you will see the Rocky Creek Bridge on your right.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Start at the Carmel Plaza and head south on Junipero St, then turn left onto 7th Ave. Continue to San Carlos St and turn right. From there, bike until you reach Ocean Ave and turn left. Follow Ocean Ave until you reach CA-1. At the intersection, carefully cross to the right side of CA-1 and continue biking north. You will enjoy beautiful ocean views along the way. After approximately 1 mile, the Rocky Creek Bridge will be on your right.
