    Pescadero State Beach is located on Highway 1, approximately 14.5 miles south of Half Moon Bay. From Half Moon Bay, drive south on Highway 1. There are three parking lots available on the western side of the highway. The northernmost lot is before Pescadero Creek, while the central and southern lots are located just after the bridge. Parking costs $8 per vehicle. Follow the signs to the designated parking areas.

    While there isn't direct public transport to Pescadero State Beach, you can take a SamTrans bus to Half Moon Bay and then a taxi or ride-sharing service to the beach. SamTrans route 17 typically runs between Half Moon Bay and various points south. From Half Moon Bay, a taxi or ride-share to Pescadero State Beach will cost approximately $30-$45 and take around 20-30 minutes. Remember to check the bus schedules and taxi/ride-share availability in advance.

    If you are staying in the town of Pescadero, Pescadero State Beach is located approximately 2 miles west of town. From Pescadero, head west on Pescadero Creek Road towards Highway 1. Once you reach Highway 1, carefully cross the road to access the beach. Be cautious of traffic on Highway 1. The walk is relatively flat and should take around 30-40 minutes. Note that there are no sidewalks along Pescadero Creek Road, so be mindful of vehicles.
