The most common starting point for accessing Mt. Kaweah is from the Mineral King area within Sequoia National Park. From Three Rivers, CA, follow Mineral King Road for approximately 25 miles to the end of the road in Mineral King. Be aware that Mineral King Road is narrow, winding, and may be closed due to snow, typically reopening around late May. RVs and trailers are not advised on this road.
