Public Transport
Tuolumne County Transit provides transportation from Groveland to various destinations. Check the current schedule for the Groveland Columbia Connect route, which may offer stops near Thousand Trails Yosemite Lakes. Additionally, YARTS (Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System) provides service between Yosemite Valley and Sonora, with stops in Groveland. A YARTS route, Sonora Highway 120N, stops at the campground's country store. Round-trip tickets from Yosemite Lakes Campground to the visitor's center are available for purchase from the driver. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and children under 12. One child, age 12 and under, can ride for free with a parent. The park's gate fee is included in the fare. All buses are equipped to accept wheelchairs.
