Getting There

    From the center of Yosemite Village, head south toward the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. Once you reach the Visitor Center, continue straight along the path that leads to the shuttle stop. Board the free Yosemite Shuttle (the blue line) heading towards Northside Drive. Stay on the shuttle for about 5 stops, getting off at the 'Yosemite Valley View' stop. After disembarking, follow the short walking path leading to the viewpoint, which is well-marked.

    If you're renting a bike in Yosemite Village, head northwest on the bike path that runs parallel to Southside Drive. Continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach Northside Drive. Turn left and bike along Northside Drive for approximately 0.5 miles until you come to the Yosemite Valley View. Look for signs indicating the viewpoint; there is a designated bike rack available for parking your bike.

  • Hiking

    From the Yosemite Village, take the trail that starts near the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. This is a scenic hiking route that leads towards Northside Drive. Follow the signs along the path, which will take you through beautiful landscapes for about 1.2 miles until you reach Northside Drive. Once you arrive at Northside Drive, turn right and walk along the road for approximately 0.3 miles until you come to Yosemite Valley View. There are clear signs directing you to the viewpoint.
