Getting There

  • Hiking

    From Yosemite Village, head southeast on Village Drive towards the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Southside Drive. Turn left onto Southside Drive and follow the signs toward the trailhead for Tuolumne Grove, which is approximately 2.5 miles away. The trailhead is located at the end of the road, where you will find a parking area and sign indicating the start of the Tuolumne Grove Trail. The hike to the grove is about 1.5 miles and can be steep at times, so be prepared with comfortable hiking shoes and plenty of water.

  • Shuttle Bus

    From Yosemite Village, catch the free Yosemite shuttle bus at the nearest shuttle stop (look for the shuttle bus sign). Take the shuttle towards the Mariposa Grove area. Stay on the shuttle until you reach the stop for the Tuolumne Grove Trailhead. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the trailhead entrance, which is a short walk from the shuttle stop. The Tuolumne Grove Trail will lead you into the grove itself.
