Walking
Starting from the Yosemite Village Visitor Center, head east along the main path towards the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. Continue on the path until you reach a junction with signs pointing towards various trails. Follow the signs for the Mist Trail, which will lead you towards the valley floor and eventually to Wawona Rd. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the intersection of the Mist Trail and Wawona Rd. Turn right onto Wawona Rd and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for signs indicating the Artist Point Trail, which will be on your left. The trailhead is marked, and you will see a small parking area, though you won't need it since you're walking.

Shuttle
From the Yosemite Village Visitor Center, board the free Yosemite Shuttle. Make sure to get on the shuttle heading towards the North Pines Campground. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop for the Glacier Point Road. From there, follow the signs to the Artist Point Trailhead, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the shuttle stop. You will follow a well-marked path that leads directly to the trailhead.
