    From Yosemite Village, head east along the main path towards the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. As you pass the Visitor Center, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Southside Drive. Turn left onto Southside Drive and follow it for about 2 miles. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Wawona Covered Bridge. After about 2 miles, you will see a sign for the Wawona area. Follow the path that leads you to Forest Drive, and the Wawona Covered Bridge will be on your right.

    Begin at the Yosemite Village Bike Rental location. Rent a bike and head in the direction of the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. Once you reach the Visitor Center, continue on the bike path towards Southside Drive. Turn left onto Southside Drive and bike for around 2 miles. Look out for directional signs to Wawona. When you see the sign for Wawona, take the path leading to Forest Drive, and you will arrive at the Wawona Covered Bridge on your right.

  • Public Transport (Shuttle)

    Start at the Yosemite Village shuttle stop. Board the shuttle heading towards the Wawona area. The shuttle will take you through the park, and you should stay on until you reach the Wawona stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs to Forest Drive, and you will find the Wawona Covered Bridge a short walk away.
