Walking
From the center of Matavera, head south on Ara Tapu Road. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 1 mile). You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Tukaka Garden View will be on your left. The entrance is marked and easily identifiable. Walking from Matavera market will take approximately 20 minutes.

From Avarua, take either the clockwise or anti-clockwise bus. Both buses service the Ara Tapu road where Tukaka Garden View is located. Inform the driver you wish to disembark near Matavera. From the bus stop on Ara Tapu, walk a short distance to Tukaka Garden View. The bus fare is approximately NZD $5. Buses operate every hour from 7 am to 10 pm, Monday to Saturday.
