The walk is approximately 1.5km and takes about 20-30 minutes, offering scenic views of the surrounding cloud forest. Be prepared for a steep incline on the final approach to the garden. There are no costs associated with walking.

    If driving from San José, take the Inter-American Highway (Route 2) south towards San Isidro de El General. Turn east onto Route 314 towards San Gerardo de Dota. The drive is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once in San Gerardo de Dota, follow signs to Batsu Garden. Be aware that the final access road to Batsu Garden is steep and may require a 4x4 vehicle. Parking is available near the entrance. There are no toll costs. Parking is free.
