If you are driving from the entrance of Cotopaxi National Park, head north on the main road (E28) towards Machachi. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit for the E35 highway towards Quito. Continue on the E35 for about an hour, following signs for Quito. Once you reach the city, navigate towards the northern part of Quito. Look for signs directing you to Condor Machay, a popular nature preserve in the region. The drive should take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.

To reach Condor Machay using public transportation, first, take a bus from the Cotopaxi National Park area to Machachi. This journey takes about 30 minutes. From Machachi, catch a bus heading to Quito. Once in Quito, you may need to transfer to another bus that goes towards the northern part of the city. Make sure to ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Condor Machay as it may not be a direct route. The entire trip could take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on wait times and transfers.
