Walking
If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head west on Bismarckallee. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the first major intersection. Turn left onto Wilhelmstraße and walk for about 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. At the end of Wilhelmstraße, turn right onto Merianstraße. Kath. Kirche St. Martin will be on your left after about 200 meters, located at Merianhof 1.

From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 (direction: Littenweiler) or tram line 3 (direction: Vauban) from the tram stop located just outside the station. Get off at the 'Bismarckallee' stop after approximately 3 minutes. From the tram stop, walk east on Bismarckallee for about 100 meters, then turn left onto Wilhelmstraße. Walk for about 300 meters, and at the end of Wilhelmstraße, turn right onto Merianstraße. Kath. Kirche St. Martin will be on your left after about 200 meters at Merianhof 1.

If you are in the center of Freiburg, for instance at the Freiburg Münster (Cathedral), head south on Münsterplatz towards Rathausplatz. Exit the plaza on the southeast side and continue onto Münsterstraße. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Merianstraße. Turn left onto Merianstraße and walk straight for about 300 meters. Kath. Kirche St. Martin will be on your right at Merianhof 1.
