Walking
From the center of Blonduos, head west on Aðalgata street towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the river Blanda. Cross the bridge and turn left immediately after. Continue walking along the path by the river, enjoying the scenic views. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the Guðríður Þorbjarnardóttir Monument on your right side, marked by its distinctive structure. Be sure to take your time to appreciate the surrounding nature and the significance of the monument.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central square of Blonduos. Ride west on Aðalgata street towards the river. Cross the bridge over the river Blanda, then turn left right after crossing. Follow the cycle path along the riverbank for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Guðríður Þorbjarnardóttir Monument on your right. The ride is pleasant and offers beautiful views of the river and the surrounding landscape.
