If you are driving from Egilsstaðir, head southeast on Road 1 (the Ring Road) for about 10 km. Then, take the exit onto Road 93 towards Breiðdalsvík. Continue on Road 93 for approximately 12 km until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto Múlavegur. Continue on Múlavegur for about 2 km, and you will find the Wilderness Center on your left. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating the Wilderness Center.
