From Langjökull Glacier, head south towards Route 1 (the Ring Road). Once on Route 1, drive for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 518 (Reykholt). Turn left onto Route 518 and follow it for about 10 km. You will see signs for The Cave Vidgelmir; continue along the road until you reach the cave entrance at Fljótstunga, 320 Reykholt. Please note that there is a parking fee of approximately 1,000 ISK per vehicle.
