Turn left onto Route 32. Drive for approximately 30 km, then turn onto the Kjölur road (F35) towards Hveravellir. Follow F35 for about 20 km, and you will see signs directing you to the Hveravellir geothermal area. Make sure to have a 4x4 vehicle, as the roads can be rough, especially in certain seasons.
