If you are traveling by car from Reykjavík, start by heading northeast on Snorrabraut towards the main road, Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1) heading towards Akureyri. After approximately 40 minutes, take the exit towards Þingvellir National Park (Road 36). Continue on Road 36 for about 10 km until you reach the park entrance. The Silfra meeting point is located at Vallarvegur, 806, near the park's visitor center. There is a parking fee for the national park, so make sure to have some Icelandic króna (ISK) ready for this expense.

To reach Silfra via public transportation, take a bus from Reykjavík to Þingvellir National Park. Buses are available from the BSI Bus Terminal. Companies like Gray Line and Reykjavik Excursions operate this route. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Make sure to check the current bus schedules for departure times. Once you arrive at the Þingvellir National Park bus stop, follow the signs towards the visitor center. The Silfra meeting point is a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) from the visitor center along the marked paths.
