Public Transport
From Bray, head to the Bray DART station. Take the DART train towards Dublin and get off at the nearest station to Laragh, which is the Greystones station. This journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Greystones station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Here, you will catch the 184 bus towards Laragh. The bus ride is approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Laragh stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3.5 kilometers to reach Tonelagee, which is located in Laragh West, Co. Wicklow. Follow the signs for hiking trails leading to the mountain; the scenic route will guide you through the beautiful countryside.

If you prefer to walk from Bray to Laragh, you can follow the scenic coastal path from Bray to Greystones, which is about 7 kilometers along the sea. Once you reach Greystones, head to the DART station and take the bus as described above. Alternatively, after reaching Laragh, walk towards the Tonelagee trail head. For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike in Bray and follow the N11 road towards Greystones. It is about a 7-kilometer ride. Once in Greystones, you can continue cycling to Laragh via the R755 road, which leads directly to Laragh. In total, the cycling distance from Bray to Laragh is around 15 kilometers. Once you reach Laragh, follow the local signs to the Tonelagee trail head for a rewarding mountain hike.
