Subway
If you are starting from Tenjin Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. After two stops, get off at Hakata Station. Once you arrive at Hakata Station, follow the signs for the East Exit. After exiting, you will see a large open area. This is JR Hakata Station Square, located at 1-1 Hakataekichuogai, Hakata Ward.

If you are near Tenjin, you can catch a Nishitetsu bus bound for Hakata Station. Board the bus at the Tenjin Bus Center (located near Tenjin Subway Station). The ride takes about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Hakata Station stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the East Exit of the station, and you will find yourself at JR Hakata Station Square.
