From Hakata Station, Canal City Hakata is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head east from the station, following the main road. You'll pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Look for signs directing you to Canal City. The complex will be on your left, with its distinctive colorful buildings.

Public Transport
From Hakata Station, take the Nanakuma Subway Line to Kushida Shrine Station. The ride is about 1 minute, and the fare is 210 yen. From Kushida Shrine Station, Canal City Hakata is a short walk away. Alternatively, from Hakata Bus Terminal, take the subway to Kushida Shrine Station. The ride is about 1 minute and costs 200-220 yen. Many city buses also stop near Canal City Hakata. Look for buses that list 'Canal City Hakata-mae' as a stop.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Fukuoka. From Hakata Station, a taxi ride to Canal City Hakata takes approximately 3 minutes and costs between 1,100 and 1,400 yen. From Fukuoka Airport, expect to pay around 1,500 yen for a 15-minute ride. Taxi fares start at 580 JPY, with an additional 325 JPY per kilometer. Be aware that fares may increase at night.

Driving
If driving, Canal City Hakata has its own parking facilities. Parking is available 24 hours a day with a capacity of 1,300 cars. From Monday to Friday, parking costs 200 yen per 30 minutes from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and 100 yen per 30 minutes from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, the rate is 200 yen per 30 minutes at all times. There is also parking available at the adjacent Canal City Park Sumiyoshi. Some stores offer parking validation for purchases over 2,500 yen.
