Public Transportation
If you are starting from Hakone, take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station toward Gora. At Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride it to Sounzan Station. From Sounzan, take the Hakone Ropeway to Togendai Station. Once you reach Togendai, take the bus to Kamakura. The bus will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at 'Jochiji-mae' bus stop, which is the closest stop to Jochi-ji. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes following the signs to reach Jochi-ji.

If you're driving from Hakone, take Route 1 heading toward Odawara. After about 20 minutes, merge onto Route 134 toward Kamakura. Continue on Route 134 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Kamakura. Look for signs to Jochi-ji, which is located at 1402 Yamanouchi, Kamakura, Kanagawa 247-0062. There is limited parking available near the temple, so it's advisable to arrive early. Please note that tolls may apply on certain highways, so prepare for potential toll fees.
