If you're driving from Hakone, start by taking Route 1 towards Odawara for about 30 minutes. Then, merge onto Route 134 and continue for approximately 20 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Kamakura, and follow the signs to Yamanouchi. Meigetsuin Hondogo Garden is located at Yamanouchi, Kamakura, Kanagawa 247-0062. There is parking available, but be aware that it may incur a fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Meigetsuin Hondogo Garden using public transport, first take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Tōkaidō Main Line and head towards Kamakura Station. This part of the trip takes about 35 minutes. Once at Kamakura Station, exit the station and catch the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) towards Fujisawa. Get off at Meigetsu-in Station, which is the closest station to the garden. The garden is about a 10-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs or use a map application to guide you.
