Car
If you are driving from Hakone to Kamakura Zaimokuza Beach, start by heading southeast on Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Yokohama. After approximately 40 km, take the exit toward Kamakura. Follow the local roads towards Kamakura city center and then head to Zaimokuza area. The beach is located at 5 Chome Zaimokuza. There is parking available near the beach, but be aware that it may incur a daily fee of around 1,000 to 2,000 yen depending on the lot.

For those using public transportation, start at Hakone Yumoto Station. Take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Odawara Station. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Tōkaidō Line and take a train to Kamakura Station. The total travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, you can take a bus (Bus No. 23 or 24) or a taxi to Zaimokuza Beach, which is about a 10-minute ride. The bus fare is around 210 yen.

Alternatively, you can take the Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus from Hakone to Kamakura. Board the bus at the Hakone Yumoto Station and enjoy the scenic ride. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Get off at Kamakura Station, and from there, take a local bus or a taxi to get to Zaimokuza Beach. The bus fare is approximately 210 yen.
