Getting There

Car
If you're traveling by car from Hakone, start by taking the Route 1 highway heading southeast towards Itō. After approximately 25 kilometers, follow signs to Itō and then take the Route 135 towards the coast. Look for signs to Mt. Omuro (Ike, Itō) as you approach. The journey will take around 40 minutes depending on traffic. There is parking available at the base of the mountain, but there may be a small fee (around 500 yen) for parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Mt. Omuro using public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. At Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Ito Line and take a train heading towards Itō. Get off at Itō Station. From Itō Station, you can take a local bus (Kanto Bus) towards Mt. Omuro. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes, and the fare is approximately 500 yen. Once you arrive at the bus stop, Mt. Omuro will be a short walk from there.
