Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from central Hitachi, head south on Route 6 towards Mito. After approximately 40 km, merge onto the Joban Expressway (E6) towards Tokyo. Continue for about 80 km and take the exit for Ueno. Follow signs for Route 4 and 35, then merge onto Route 17 towards Bunkyo City. Continue until you reach Sendagi 2 Chome. Hebimichi is located at the intersection of Sendagi 2 Chome and Yanaka 2 Chome, near the boundary of Taito Ward and Bunkyo City. Parking may be limited in the area, so plan accordingly.

  • Public Transportation

    Start by taking the Hitachi Line from Hitachi Station to Mito Station. Transfer to the Joban Line and head towards Ueno Station. Once in Ueno, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and travel to Sendagi Station. From Sendagi Station, it's a short walk to Hebimichi. Exit the station, head west on Sendagi Street, and turn left onto Yanaka Street. Hebimichi will be on your right. Make sure to check train schedules and fares, as a one-way ticket will typically cost around ¥1,500.
