From Ito Station, take a Tokai Bus towards Shaboten Koen. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes and costs 880 yen. Get off at the final stop, Shaboten Koen, and walk a short distance up the hill to the zoo entrance. Alternatively, from Izu Kogen Station, take a bus towards Shaboten Koen. This ride takes about 20 minutes and costs 430 yen. Discount bus passes are available at Ito and Izu Kogen Stations. A 1-day pass costs 1250 yen and a 2-day pass costs 1800 yen. The trip from Izu Kogen Station is covered by both passes, while the trip from Ito Station is only covered by the 2-day pass.

From Ito Station, a taxi ride to Izu Shaboten Zoo takes approximately 25 minutes. The estimated cost is between 7,000 and 8,500 yen. From Izu Kogen Station, a taxi ride to the zoo takes about 15 minutes. The cost will be less than from Ito Station.
