If you're driving from central Izumo, head northwest on Route 9 (National Route 9). Follow the signs for Izumo Taisha Shrine and continue straight. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn right onto Route 431 (Nishishinmachi). Continue for about 2 kilometers, and you will find the Shimane Hana no Sato Botanical Garden on your left at 2 Chome-1101-1 Nishishinmachi. There is parking available on-site, and there is no fee for parking.

From Izumo Station, take a bus from the Izumo City Bus terminal (located near the station). Look for the bus heading towards Nishishinmachi or Shimane Hana no Sato. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes, and the fare is approximately 400 yen. Get off at the 'Shimane Hana no Sato' stop, and the botanical garden will be within a short walking distance.
