Car
From Kagoshima City, take Route 3 (Kagoshima-Kita Road) north towards Aira District. Continue on Route 3 for approximately 40 kilometers. Look for signs for Yusui, and turn onto Route 1 towards Yusui. After about 15 kilometers, turn left onto Koba Road (Koba-cho). Follow Koba Road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Kirishima Open Air Museum located at 6340-220 Koba, Yusui, Aira District, Kagoshima 899-6201. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
From Kagoshima Chuo Station, take the JR Nippo Line towards Nobeoka. Get off at Yusui Station (approximately 1 hour). At Yusui Station, transfer to a local bus bound for Koba. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Koba stop, which is the closest stop to the museum. From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Kirishima Open Air Museum located at 6340-220 Koba, Yusui, Aira District, Kagoshima 899-6201.
