If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Satsuma. Use Route 3, heading towards Kagoshima. After approximately 30 minutes, you will enter Kagoshima city. Look for signs directing you to 'JR Kagoshima Chuo Station'. Once you reach the station, park in one of the nearby parking facilities, such as 'Kagoshima Chuo Station Parking' (fees may apply). From the parking lot, walk towards the east exit of the station. The Statues of Satsuma Domain Samurais are located directly in front of the JR Kagoshima Chuo Station East Exit Square.

Public Transportation - Train
If you prefer public transportation, take a local train from Satsuma to Kagoshima. Board the Kagoshima Main Line at Satsuma Station and travel south for approximately 20 minutes to reach Kagoshima Chuo Station. Upon arrival, exit the station and head to the East Exit. The Statues of Satsuma Domain Samurais are directly in front of this exit. Make sure to check the train schedule as trains may run less frequently on weekends and holidays.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Satsuma to Kagoshima. Look for the bus services that operate between Satsuma and Kagoshima City. The journey typically takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Kagoshima Bus Terminal, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) to Kagoshima Chuo Station or take the tram (Kagoshima City Tram) to the station. The tram fare is around 200 yen. After reaching the station, proceed to the East Exit where the Statues of Satsuma Domain Samurais are located.
