Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Kagoshima City. Head southeast on Route 3 towards the Sakurajima ferry terminal. After approximately 5 km, take the exit onto Route 225 toward Yoshino. Continue on Route 225 for about 2 km, then turn left onto Yoshino-chō. The Shoko Shuseikan Museum will be on your right at 9698-1 Yoshino-chō, marked by signs. There is free parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach the Shoko Shuseikan Museum via public transportation, take the Kagoshima City Tram from Kagoshima Chuo Station to the 'Yoshino' stop (approximately 20 minutes). Once you exit the tram, walk east for about 10 minutes along Yoshino-chō. The museum will be on your left at 9698-1 Yoshino-chō. The tram fare is around ¥200 one way.
