Car
If you are driving, start on Route 3 (Kagoshima Expressway) and head towards Kagoshima City. Follow the signs to City Center (市中心) and exit at the Kagoshima City Hall exit. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 10. Turn right on Route 10 and keep following the road until you reach Yoshino-chō. Turn left on Yoshino-chō, and the Shuseikan Foreign Engineers' Residence will be on your left at 9685-15 Yoshino-chō. Parking is available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a train or bus to Kagoshima Chuo Station. From Kagoshima Chuo Station, you can take the City Tram (市電) towards the 'Kamoike' direction. Get off at the 'Yoshino-chō' stop (吉野町). From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the Shuseikan Foreign Engineers' Residence. Head east on Yoshino-chō Street and look for the sign indicating the residence. The tram fare is approximately 200 yen one way.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle near Kagoshima Chuo Station. Head towards Route 10, then follow it to Yoshino-chō. The ride will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws. There are bicycle parking areas near the residence.
