If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Kagoshima and head north on Route 3 (Kagoshima Route). Continue for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 225. Turn right onto Route 225, which will take you toward Shiroyamacho. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Shiroyamacho Street. Continue straight for a few minutes, and you will find Tsurumaru Castle Ruins at 7-2 Shiroyamacho, Kagoshima, 892-0853. There is limited parking available nearby, and be aware that parking fees may apply depending on the lot you choose.

To reach Tsurumaru Castle Ruins by bus, find the nearest bus stop in Kagoshima City. Take the Kamoike Line (Kagoshima City Bus) and get off at the 'Shiroyama' bus stop. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark, walk about 10 minutes uphill toward the castle ruins. Follow the signs that direct you to 'Kagoshima Castle Ruins.' Keep in mind that bus fares vary based on distance, but expect to pay around 200-300 yen.

If you prefer to take the tram, board the Kagoshima City Tram at the nearest tram station. Take the tram heading toward 'Susukida' and get off at 'Shiroyama' station.
