If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Koshi and head towards Route 3. Follow Route 3 northbound until you reach the intersection with Route 57. Turn right onto Route 57 and continue for about 3 km. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, you will see the signs for Shimada Museum on your right. If you prefer public transportation, take the Kumamoto City Tram from Koshi Station towards the Kumamoto City Center. Get off at the Shimasaki Tram Stop, which is about a 20-minute ride.
