Follow the signs towards Renge Uji and keep an eye out for the Byodo-in Omotesando entrance on your left. Parking is available, but be aware that it may incur a fee of approximately 500 yen per hour.

Public Transportation (Train + Walk)
To reach Byodo-in Omotesando using public transportation, begin your journey at Uji Station on the JR Nara Line. From Uji Station, take a local bus (number 20 or 21) towards Byodoin (Byodo-in Temple). The bus ride is around 5 minutes. Once you get off at the Byodoin stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Byodo-in Omotesando, located in Renge Uji. Be sure to check the bus schedule as they may run infrequently.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to travel entirely by bus, you can take the Kyoto City Bus from Kyoto Station. Board the 207 bus towards Uji and get off at the Byodoin stop. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. After disembarking, walk about 10 minutes to reach Byodo-in Omotesando. The bus fare is around 230 yen.
