If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the Kyoto Prefectural Route 2 (also known as the Kizu River Route). From Settsu, head towards the Route 2 via Route 170. Once you reach Route 2, continue driving until you see signs for Uji. Follow the signs to Uji Park located at Togawa-3 Uji, Kyoto 611-0021. Parking is available near the park, but be aware that it may incur a cost, typically around 500 to 1,000 yen depending on the duration of your stay.

For those using public transportation, take the JR Gakkentoshi Line from Settsu to Uji Station. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Uji Station, exit the station and walk towards the north exit. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Uji Park. You will need to cross the Uji River via the Uji Bridge. The walk is pleasant and offers scenic views.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Settsu to Uji. Check the local bus schedules for the most convenient route; typically, the bus will take around 40 minutes. After arriving at the Uji bus terminal, follow the signs to Uji Park, which is a short 10-minute walk from the terminal.
