To reach Entsū-ji Temple via public transportation, take the Kyoto City Bus #204 or #205 from Kyoto Station. Get off at the Iwakura Hataedacho bus stop, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From the bus stop, it's about a 10-minute walk to the temple. Walk north on Hataedacho Street until you see the temple entrance on your left.

Another option is to take the Eizan Railway from Demachiyanagi Station to Iwakura Station. The train journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Iwakura Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus #204 or #205. Get off at the Iwakura Hataedacho bus stop. The temple is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
