By Car
If you're driving to Daisen-in Temple, start by entering the address '54-1 Murasakino Daitokujicho, Kita Ward, Kyoto, 603-8231' into your GPS. From the center of Settsu, take the Route 170 north and follow the signs to Kyoto. Once in Kyoto, merge onto Route 1, then take the exit towards Kitayama Dori. Follow Kitayama Dori until you reach the Murasakino area. Look for signs for Daisen-in Temple as you approach. There is parking available near the temple, but it may incur a small fee.

By Public Transportation
To reach Daisen-in Temple via public transportation, start from Settsu City Hall. Walk to Settsu-Tonda Station and take the JR Takarazuka Line towards Osaka. Transfer at Osaka Station to the JR Kyoto Line. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line and get off at Kitayama Station. From Kitayama Station, take bus number 204 or 205 towards Murasakino. Get off at the Murasakino Daitokujicho bus stop, which is a short walk to the temple. Be sure to check for bus schedules as they may vary throughout the day.
