    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Settsu and head north on Route 171. Continue on Route 171 for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 heading towards Kyoto. After about 6 kilometers, take the exit toward Matsugasaki Higashimachi. Follow the signs to Matsugasaki Higashimachi, and you will reach Myōen-ji Temple in about 5 minutes. There is parking available near the temple, but please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 500 yen per hour.

    For those using public transportation, start by taking the JR Tozai Line from Settsu Station to Kyoto Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Line and take the train to Imadegawa Station. From Imadegawa Station, exit and take bus number 203 or 204 towards Matsugasaki. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Disembark at the Matsugasaki Higashimachi stop, and from there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Myōen-ji Temple. The total cost for this route is approximately 600 yen for the train and 230 yen for the bus.
